African art, tribal mask,"African mask" Ivory Coast Senufu baboon mask c1945. This a wonderful rare example a Senufu tribal mask. This African mask measures 15 inches high and 9 inches wide. There is a piece missing on the back rim which is very typical for this period of mask. PROVENANCE,This tribal mask was consigned to us by a professor of political science at an eastern ivy league university. He acquired this piece while on assignment in Africa during the 1940s.

African Ashanti brass lost wax bronze chief riding in a palanquin. This wonderful "Ashanti brass sculpture" came to us from an important African Art collection. This vintage or antique sculpture measures 4 and one eighth inches long, 2 and one eighths inches wide and 3 inches high. This sculpture depicts 11 tribesman carrying their chief who shades himself under an umbrella. A bird rides on top of the umbrella.

Ethiopian Arrusi Shield,This unique item is a rare find, made from a Rhinoceros hide , This "African shield" is from Ethiopia,"Arrusi". Some minor repairs, which can be seen in the photographs.
